Sobos go on the road and defeat Scales Mound 71-64 to move to 18-4 on the season. Robertson led the Sobos with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Peterson with a season-high 20 points and Hampton added 12.

Sobos defeat Faith Christian 74-39 to move their record to 19-4 overall. The Sobos were led in scoring by Robertson with 34 points.

Sobos go on the road and pick up win #20 on the year with a 76-45 victory over Harvest Christian! Robertson led all scorers with 39! Porter added 14 and Peterson 8. With that win, the Sobos are undefeated conference champs for the second straight season!

Over the past week, Senior Ross Robertson has put himself into some illustrious company! With his 18-rebound effort against Hinckley-Big Rock on Tuesday, Robertson moved to #2 all time in IHSA boys basketball history for career rebounds!

There’s a new member on the top 10 IHSA career scoring list! On Thursday night, Ross passed Chicago Roosevelt’s Chuck Taylor (1980-83) for 10th place on the all-time scoring list.

Sobos (24-5) drop a tough one to Rockford Lutheran, 82-77 in 2 OT! Robertson led all scorers with 37 points. Porter with 21 and Peterson 11.

Sobos (25-5) go on the road and defeat North Boone 56-40! Robertson led the way with 27 points. Peterson and Porter each with 9 points, and Carlson added 7. One more regular season game to go: Senior Night on Friday night!

Sobos defeat Yorkville Christian 68-61 and finish the regular season 26-5. Robertson led the way with 36 points on his way to reaching the 3,000-point milestone. Porter added 19.

Sobos (27-5) defeat OLSHA in the regional quarterfinal 70-18. Robertson led all scorers with 28 points and moves into 4th place on the IHSA all-time scoring list, passing Jon Scheyer. Up next: Regional semifinal Wednesday night at Durand at 7:30.

The Sobos’ season comes to an end as they lose to Lena-Winslow 38-35 on a last-second three-pointer. Although we’re disappointed in tonight’s result, we’re so proud of the work this team did all season long. Thank you, seniors, for all you’ve given to this program these 4 years!
