I’d like a car where if the dashboard gives you a warning sign it also tells you how expensive it’s likely to be and for how long you can get away with ignoring it.

I’ll go first:

“Blackpool illuminations” = one bright light being on in a room, somewhat unnecessarily.

I just asked someone how they were and they said, “I’ve had better days”.

Seeing as they’re British, this tells me they’re probably having the worst day of their life.

Seeing as I’m also British, I replied, “oh dear, sorry to hear that” and we left it there.
