As warmer weather approaches, the rivers and lakes around the Snoqualmie Valley may appear to be a great place to cool off. BUT BE CAUTIOUS! The water right now is very cold and moving quickly and has many hazards and undercurrents. Please keep yourself and pets out.

It's going to be HOT this week, so we'll help you cool down. Head to Snoq. Community Park 8/15 @ 2pm. We'll have the giant sprinkler running. [We'll do our best to make it rain, but if firefighters receive a call, we may have to cut the fun short or reschedule.]

Earlier today, crews responded to a small brush fire involving a homeowner using a flame & smoke device to deal w/ insects. We do not recommend these types of devices, especially during hot, dry weather. #Befirewise
