Final LS Fire Update: A small greenhouse is completely destroyed including part of a fence and half an evergreen. One person transported for treatment. SCFM will investigate. Witnesses described hearing booms during the fire. Lundeen opening up to traffic.

SRFR is responding again for mutual aid to Eagle Falls for a swimmer in distress. They are stuck on the other side of the river needing assistance. Eagle Falls is not safe. Do not go in!

SRFR was dispatched to Menzel Lake Rd S of Scotty Rd near Granite Falls for a brush fire. Multiple agencies including DNR are on scene including helicopters. Avoid Menzel Lake Rd at this time.

SRFR along with SCFD4 and Everett Fire knocked down a house fire in the 1700 block of 72nd Ave SE in Lake Stevens. Early investigation shows a smoldering fire caused by fireworks from last night caught a bush on fire that shot flames up into the eves. More info to come.

4th of July SRFR stats: 88 total calls. 4 FRC (fire residential confirmed). 3 were extinguished quickly. 14 of the 38 calls in the N Battalion were fireworks related. Brush 81 was up-staffed and responded to 7 fireworks related calls that were put out faster than an Engine could.
