Amazing day today at the UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery & Health Systems EDI Committee Meeting. Sharing ideas for future directions and deciding EDI initiatives while preparing for our EDI conference come September. Led by the Chair Sinem, it was great to meet with the team physically UCD Equality Diversity & Inclusion University College Dublin

On the 27th of September, 2024 at 11 am, the EDI committee is hosting an EDI event, namely `Elimination of Racial Discrimination in Health Sciences`.  We will hear from UCD’s Catherine Tormey and Assistant Professor Olayinka Aremu as well as Professor Calvin Moorley.

Today we gather to address a critical issue in health sciences. Our event on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in Health Sciences went well. 🍀🍀

A huge thanks to SNMHS EDI committee and and all participants for joining our EDI event. Of course I also would like to express my sincere thanks to our esteemed speakers whose insights have been invaluable.🍀🍀

This time last week we hosted a morning with UCD Medicine in aid of World Mental Health Day. Such an important cause for students and staff alike, it was great to see people take time out from their busy schedules, prioritise their mental health 🧠 🌍 #WMHD2024 #changethestigma
