I got selected to give a talk as a part of the Distinguished Young Scholars Seminar (DYSS 2024) series at UW Chemical Engineering! Very excited to travel to Seattle for the first time, and meet with some wonderful students and faculty. Here is the speaker lineup: depts.washington.edu/dyss/2024.html

As I begin this new chapter of my life at USF, I'd like to close out my previous with a big thank you to @Gassensmith lab for being such an integral part of my foundation as a (hopefully) future scientist! Special thank you's to my amazing mentors Sneha Kumari, PhD and Thomas Howlett! ❤️

I had the honor of spending the last two days at Merck in Rahway with the 2024 Underrepresented Chemists of Color winner cohort, as well as the wonderful people who work there. I learnt a lot while having so much fun! I am very grateful to have met these incredible folks.

When I moved to Evanston, I expected I would have to go into Chicago every time I wanted good food. But Evanston has surprisingly been delivering banger after banger!

It pains me to know that Prof. Ray Baughman has passed away. He once bought me a drink at a department dinner and called me a "young superstar". I will remember his enormous contribution to science and his words to me, and channel his energy to expand the field of nanotechnology.

Started this year's birding season with a Spring Migration birdwalk at Northwestern! We also met a rehabber, who showed us some birds she rescued that morning. (The brown bags hold the rescued birds, they're all alive and moving around in the bags)
