Town criers parade through Yeovil on the way to a day of competition involving very loud voices. Love it.

Nipped over to see the Knife Angel by the sculptor Alfie Bradley this afternoon. I wasn’t expecting to be as impressed as I was, but seeing it up close made me realise that photographs do not do this poignant piece of work justice. Well worth a visit if you can.

A trip up Piz Nair this morning which commands great views of St Moritz but really it was an excuse for great coffee.

I have always enjoyed wearing hoodies so the Mrs. knit me this one. She chose bright orange so no hunters would shoot me while I am out wandering around taking pictures.

Today we popped over the mountains via the Bernina Pass and into the town of Tirano in Italy. We were meant to go by the Bernina Express but an overnight avalanche put pay to that. So we went by coach with occasional stops so snow ploughs could do their job. #loveswitzerland
