The level up tasks have made me notice that the game is tracking less KMs than my fitness app (Samsung Health). Anyone know if this is normal or if there's a fix?

I walked 6.1km this morning and the game only registered 2km😭. I've downloaded Google Fit and allowed it to access location. I've tried registering a workout with my watch... I don't know what else to do

What I learned from the level 74 push: This game sucks at tracking distance. I estimate I walked 260-280km total in order for the game to register 200km🙃. Every day my fitness app was telling me I had walked an extra ~30-40% than the game registered.

My character looks particularly angry about this😂

More experimenting with trying to accurately track distance. Dusted off my bike. The first and last ride counted perfectly. The middle ones didn't. This was with Google Fit open and tracking a workout, app closed. Refreshed game data before the last. More tests needed.
