Cancer changes the way you see things

Hey all. I’m raising money to go to a cancer retreat next month. Mainly I just need $350 to get the plane ticket. I hate to ask for help, but cancer has left me pretty broke.

Decided to go grocery shopping with my partner yesterday. Figured chemo was Thursday and I've been feeling ok the last few days. I was wrong. Everything hit me like a wall all at once. Sweats, nausea, fatigue, cramps, the 'other stuff'. Came home and slept 10 hours. Ugh.

May be getting lytic lesions in my foot. Was hoping I just had a fracture. Oncologist appointment next week. Seems so little to be causing so much pain.

Another week, another chemo day.💪🏼

9 hour day at the clinic. 6 of that was infusions. Last night sucked. Feeling a little better today and even got some very early grocery shopping done.
So far all my labs are doing good and the study is still working. Over 5 years with #MultipleMyeloma 💪🏼🤞🏼

Chemo Thursday. One of my favorite nurse who started on my unit 5 years ago snuck up to the research floor to visit me. These nurses are amazing. I see them more than my family and friends and they're always so kind and supportive. 💗

Her ashes came home today. Thank you everyone who helped me with the cremation bill.
When it warms up a bit we will take her to the beach and scatter them in the ocean.

It's been a week since she's passed and I still haven't been able to go to her room. I know I'll have to go through her stuff and clean it out eventually. But I just can't go in there yet.
