Leaf rust on triticale in Glasscock County. Keep an eye on your #Wheat going into the spring. See management info and resources from TAMU Small Grains Variety Testing Program here: agrilife.org/texasrowcrops/…

Finally getting to harvest some good forage out there despite getting the trial in a month late from wet weather this fall at College Station. See last year's results at varietytesting.tamu.edu/wheat.

Time to stop #grazing this #wheat if managing for dual-use grazing/grain production. The growing point is enroute on its life mission, and it shows. Sharpen your pocket knife and split some tillers to know where your wheat stands. #punintended TAMU Small Grains Variety Testing Program

Saw signs of old stripe rust (pycnidia) lower in the canopy (right), and then new activity on flag leaves of Weathermaster 135 in Abilene today. Cool wet weather lately is facilitating new rust development. Plenty of leaf rust to go around also.

He said, "You gotta plane it out like a bass boat." Most fun I've ever had watching someone mark alleys, and a beautiful Saturday to plant sesame trials. #beddedrows #furrowirrigated #goodshocks
