The last and most expensive option is using the countertop stone (granite, marble or quartz) as the backsplash. It goes without saying that class comes at a price and you would certainly need to budget accordingly for this option.

A pricier option but arguably the most exquisite option is putting glass or mirror splashback. Needless to say that cutting holes for plugpoints needs a professional and it may not be suitable if you had many children in the home because of the glass sensitivity.

Renovations Tip: What sort of backsplash to get? Tiles, Paint, Stone or Mirrors/Glass.
