OHSAA made a bad decision. HS sports as we know it is in jeopardy. Lots of people had confidence in Jerry and that he would fight for the public schools. Obviously politics were involved and we know that has worked out for us.

I’m tired of hearing about college athletes getting paid. I think we should let everyone get drafted straight out HS. If you make it good for you. If not, good luck paying for college on your own. The elite athletes are using colleges as much as they are being used.

Last night the Board of Education voted unanimously to add the name of Jerry Rutherford to Freedom Field. Jerry Rutherford Stadium at Freedom Field is a tribute to a man who has given so much of himself to the Eastwood Football program along with those who have served our nation.
