Sam Knowlton Hi. Director of the Morrow Plots here, which is the basis of the paper you cite. The Morrow Plots cannot be used to isolate K effects because K inputs are confounded by N and P co-applied. And, these soils do respond to K quite frequently, as farmers in Illinois can attest.
