Seeing YouTube Shorts and Tiktoks with 20-80k views called stuff like 'Torigiri makes commentators lose their minds' and tweets/reddit posts discussing the narratives I spun throughout the weekend such as Hurt being a favorite to win is super surreal and flattering.

Went to Monkey Man expecting it to be a pretty run of the mill John Wick inspired movie. It managed to stand on its own in an incredibly unique way by weaving a dope Indian narrative with, surprisingly, some very pro-trans themes of growth and change. It's a 10 from me.
