I got an email from a college saying that applicants are asked for “a mentor that had inspired or encouraged them on their path to success” and I was one of them. They sent me a bit that this girl said, it made my day. ❤️ I hope that a tiny bit of our time means something.

I am going to be honest, the ESPN radar guns are juiced. I DO NOT throw 69, I can say that with complete confidence. I throw CONSISTENTLY 63-66. If I am throwing any harder, my ball doesn’t move and I get hit. Also 66 or 67 for me is when I’m amped up and it’s probably flat😬

As an athlete, you need to have realistic expectations for your performance in games. Don’t be a perfectionist. By accepting that it’s impossible to be perfect in games, you’ll do a better job staying calm and moving on from mistakes.

Players...The most important team in your life, is the TEAM you play for RIGHT NOW!! Being a GREAT TEAMMATE is not convenience based, it's an all the time thing. Step 1 in being a GREAT TEAMMATE is 100% attendance!!

Closing pitcher for Florida State sitting at 61-62 mph mainly throwing drop and change.. but guess what her ball moves and hitters aren’t making hard contact. Speed is just ONE tool you guys. Stop thinking you have to throw 65+ to be successful.

Your athletic career is most likely temporary; your character lasts a lifetime. The person you are is far more important than the player you are! What are your habits/routines? Are you grateful, humble, honest. Do you care for others? Be someone people respect on & off the court!
