The next few days look cool and showery; windy at times. A narrow rainbelt spreading south overnight will bring in yet colder air with showers turning wintry over the high ground. More settled conditions are likely by the end of the week as high pressure builds in the west.

Temperatures will return to April averages as patchy rain spreading south allows a cool north-westerly flow to set in. However, it'll be warm in the south-east today. Sunday will be a day of sunshine and showers and it'll stay unsettled into next week. Next weekend however...
