In about half an hour my little cousins will ring my doorbell. They have no idea it’s my house. It’s been a surprise made weeks ago after they kept asking to come and see me and not realise I live 136 miles away. It’s going to be carnage :)

This deserves to be amplified because, we often take our cleaners for granted, and some of them are a god damned delight to have around the workplace. They are legit the only people whom you might get to share a smile with all day at work.

These two little munchkins absolutely loved The Bluebell Inn at Tattershall Thorpe today. We all had an amazing roast beef dinner followed by a little trip to Jubilee Park.

Tomorrow, I head down to Essex for a couple of days and have two days in the office for my new job! Slightly nervous but excited at the same time for new beginnings!

First day in new job today. Spending two days with the company in Clacton. I have to say, I’m bricking it!

I really don’t think the first day in my job could have gone better. The team are brilliant people and everyone was so welcoming. It’s been a real pleasure to get stuck into creative work again. Can’t wait to move on 5th October and be here properly!

I’ve had some beautiful replies about my cleaning thread here the other day but also some DMs asking me who I worked for. I have never named my employer and never will. It is inappropriate and unprofessional and not how I operate. Thanks for understanding 👍🏻

When you’ve had a cracking first day in your new job and your uncle produces a key lime cheesecake with double cream

Two days induction and a lot of work done with the new job and it’s my last night in Essex for a few weeks until I move permanently. Tomorrow it’s my book launch at the IBCC in Lincoln. I hope to see some of you there to talk about the book and say farewell for now!

Heading back to Lincolnshire tomorrow to work from home til I move. Two brilliant days in the new job with a great team of people that I’m going to really enjoy working with. Fun family time was also had. I have to say, I’m really looking forward to being down here with everyone.
