The Great North American Eclipse is taking place on April 8, and Six Nations of the Grand River is one of the best places on Earth to watch the eclipse! Here are some safety guidelines and tips to help make sure that we are all able to safely enjoy this once in a lifetime event!

Chief Sherri-Lyn Hill and the J.C. Hill Thunder Club showed off their green thumbs today by planting various fruits and vegetables in 12 community gardens on Chiefswood Road!

It was an honour to meet with the Ontario Legislative Internship Program (OLIP) so that they could both learn more about Six Nations and gain a better understanding of how they can help our community.

Congratulations to the Florida Panthers and Six Nations community member Brandon Montour for winning the Stanley Cup! He is an inspiration to our community both through his play on the ice, as well as his actions off the ice. We’ll see you soon The Stanley Cup

I would like to take a moment to congratulate the players named to the Haudenosaunee Nationals Women’s Team. They will compete in the first-ever World Indoor Lacrosse Championships from September 20-29, 2024.

The Brandon Montour Celebration was filled with pride and happiness for Brandon Montour and his achievements. I was happy to see everyone out sharing their support for Brandon! We cannot wait to see you on the ice with the Settle Kraken!

I was honoured to join 100+ paddlers for the 9th annual Two Row on the Grand! It was great to see all the smiles and laughter of the paddlers. It was an amazing day for everyone involved! #TwoRowOnTheGrand #SixNations

Chief Sherri-Lyn Hill sets the tone for the #WorldWaterCongress in #Toronto with a compelling speech on the vital importance of water as a basic human need. A meaningful start to our pursuit of water equity!

It is with great sadness that I acknowledge the passing of the Honourable Murray Sinclair. His dedicated work on truth and reconciliation brought important awareness to the legacy of residential schools. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

The community gardens were a great success and sharing them with the community was wonderful! The gardens are now winterized with the help of the J.C Hill Elementary Thunder Club. I am excited about what they will bring in 2025!
