One of those things that makes me know we live in a fallen world is that the king of dragon pass games (there are sequels, people!!!) aren't better known and held in higher esteem. These games are phenomenal acts of world building and systems driven narrative

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out is one year old today! This prequel to King of Dragon Pass can be played on it's own or you can continue your story from Six Ages 1.

Really cannot recommend the Six Ages games enough. Lights Going Out in particular is a tremendously poignant experience of navigating inevitable doom and, if you're lucky, finding some hope in the end of the world.

Elves in Six Ages are depicted as plant people (literally!) They are rarely found in Ride like the Wind and even harder to find in Lights Going Out. Have you encountered them?
