Congratulations on your appointment Jonathan Reynolds! Businesses and NGOs alike look forward to grasping the economic opportunity of the 21st century: net zero. We hope Labour's upcoming trade strategy will back UK farmers by increasing environmental standards for agrifood imports.

The The Wildlife Trusts has acquired Skiddaw! This landscape, which is treasured by so many, will see restoration of peatlands, woodlands and more. Let there be no doubt, this is a milestone moment for nature restoration in @LakeDistrictNPA and beyond. theguardian.com/uk-news/articl…

Congratulations to Alistair Carmichael MP- The EFRA Committee is well placed to explore the linkage between our trade and food systems, and develop policy to protect our natural environment. Core Standards would be a good place to start! wwf.org.uk/food/core-envi…
