It’s a #Shakespeare day today as I travel to Robert Mellors Primary Academy to take their staff through prep sessions for our upcoming Shakespeare Week. This year, we are heading into the magical forests of Athens for fairies and mischief! Time for ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’😊

I’m at Scotholme Primary today as I take their Y3 children into the wardrobe for their Narnia topic! You could’ve heard a pin drop as we saw the moment when Lucy felt the first prickle of the trees! Magical!😊🎬

It’s a BIG, EPIC Friday for me as Y6 from Scotholme Primary come to Broadway Cinema to explore life below decks on the Titanic! Such amazing visuals for their learning and writing today! Yay!😊🎬

And another week is over! A rare, light workload weekend (just one film to edit) means I can rest, recharge, get out and about and slow down. My next four weeks are bonkers busy, so it’s time to gladly take advantage of the peace.😊

It’s dark and cold, misty and quiet. So, I’m cosied down with coffee, chocolates and Francois Truffaut’s ‘Jules et Jim’. Perfect Saturday film fun!😊🎬

This morning, I’m putting together a Space workshop for a Year 2 group based on Apollo 13! Doing space with Y2 (and Y5) are such great projects; the films they watch as research are so cool, and the films the children make on the greenscreen are so exciting to watch! Smiles!😊

That thing when you’re at the gym and a Y4 girl from a school I visit comes dashing over to ask how I am and if I’m having a nice weekend! And to check when I’m next in with her class. Glimmers.😊

It’s filming day at Middleton Primary today as 90 Y4 children travel back to 776 BC to represent their cities in front of the mighty Zeus! It’s First Olympics Day! Yay! Pankration event after lunch!!😬🤞🏻🎬

Brand new school alert! Yay! Today, I’m at Ab Kettelby Primary in Leicestershire to work with their Y4/5/6 children! And again, I’m back in Ancient Greece to take an adventure in beautiful Olympia!😊🎬

And it’s Friday! Woo hoo! And it was an early drive to Shaftesbury Junior School in Leicester for my day with Y5! For the final time this week, I’m off to Olympia to celebrate the very first Olympics!😊🎬
