Okay I’ve fitted a new rear main seal but it doesn’t seem to have fixed the problem.

This is a custom Ford Model A with a difference. It was built into a speedster and fitted with not one but two Model A engines, installed inline (like a straight-eight) under the long aluminum hood.

Interestingly, it would be the T58 that powered the Carroll Shelby turbine cars at the 1968 Indianapolis 500 race. Though these cars were disqualified over a dispute surrounding the maximum allowable inlet size.
