THE EXIT WINDOW ISN'T ONLY THEORY AT Sigil

My problem with stage two is the existence of its linguistic weasel word that still allows for instantaneous upgrades in the event that two onchain proof systems disagree. What I really care about is an unpreventable exit window of 30 days minimum.

Mfers will write an entire new VM from scratch for their rollup but when you ask them to implement an exit window (3 line contract change) they start kicking and screaming

Funny but sadly true at the same time, there’s actually almost no L2 with a green pizza slice for the Exit Window. It’s always either red or yellow (not counting the two Stage 2 appchains). L2 people, we need to do better - that's my Ethereum's 10th birthday wish! 🙏

Fast withdrawals are important enough to merit full ZK proving instead of optimistic mechanisms. Most of our engineering time with Sigil has been spent making this feasible. This is still far less important than preventing any form of instantaneous upgrade.
