Usually I don't care about spoilers but when they reviewed David Mamet's HOUSE OF GAMES they completely spoiled it by showing the final scene between Joe Mantegna & Lindsey Crouse & that's a movie that hinges on twists & turns & they both loved the movie!

What I like about THE PENGUIN & Matt Reeves THE BATMAN is they have more in common with 50s pulp crime films than they do traditional comic book movies. Colin Farrell is definitely channeling real Broderick Crawford energy

I think we just took Roger Corman for granted as a producer & thought he was just the stepping stone from doing schlocky b-movies into doing prestigious work but now we see he knew how to be creative with a limited budget more than most producers now can do with a blank check
