How Arijit used the same (easy-to-miss) phrasing technique in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that Sonu Nigam had used in one of his greatest songs. It appears in a KK song as well! I am gonna call this “carryover phrasing” technique. THREAD

One thing I didn’t fully appreciate until doing research on China’s industrial policy is how virtually everything related to advanced manufacturing comes from either Germany or Japan.

Ways to steal from a hotel: 1) Upgrade guest room at check-in, $0 upgrade in PMS, pocket the cash 2) Take cash for ‘hourly’ guests, don’t enter into PMS, clean room before end of shift 2b lazy version) Take cash for room, enter into PMS give receipt, cancel in PMS, mark room

This is the most gut-wrenching blog I've read, because it's so real and so close to heart. The author is no longer with us. I'm in tears. AI is not supposed to be 200B weights of stress and pain. It used to be a place of coffee-infused eureka moments, of exciting late-night arxiv
