Easington birds...Green Hairstreaks seem to have reached the village with one on the cliff path today after one in the garden..my Swallows turned up on Apr27th, possibly after an 8000 mile hike north and I actually managed to see an Osprey which flew north from Kilnsea 😁

Easington birds .. a walk around the area with MarburyBirds was a tadge on the bracing side in the fresh north-easterly but a few nice things of interest anyway... including yet more Green Hairstreaks and a stunning sum plu Bar-tailed Godwit 😁

Easington Moths...so there's almost invisible moths flying about in the sunshine, big specks of dust..one landed on a leaf..I couldn't see it but the camera did...amazing.. Cocksfoot Moth Glyphipterix simpliciella..

Dark-edged Bee-fly Bombylius major....taken in the sunshine...furry balls of precision flying 😁

Easington birds and hoverflies... what I think is Spring Smoothtail Epistrophe eligans as it kept coming to have a look at me... just trying to see what the Canon 100-400 mk2 will do close up... fascinating 😁

Easington Moths...two nfy both pristine, a Meadow Hook-wing Ancylis badiana and Common Marble Celypha lacunana...both smart moths 😁 #teammoth

Easington wasps... a Ruby-tailed Wasp Chrysis sp curled up into ball when I tried to take a pic at dusk... never seen one do that before.. possibly ignita but could be one of others.. If anyone knows how to do these, suggestions welcome 😁 #rubytailedwasp #bwars

Easington bees...I'd never seen a Sharp-tailed Bee species and this mating pair turned up in the garden...Notoriously difficult to identify does anyone feel like having a go? Beautiful little things, so feisty..I've lots more pics if it helps 😁 🐝 NHM Bees 🐝

Easington Moths..Orange-spot Daisy Moth Dichrorampha alpinana in my patch of Ox-eyes. Not a common moth in my part of VC61... and a smart little thing it is..😁

Easington... 1 of 2 new foxes in the garden turned up last night to enjoy sunflower hearts that I'd sprinkled on the lawn...& then had to lick its nose clean 😁 The smaller 1 of the 2, it's very skittish, running at the slightest noise. What a beautiful animal 😍 Fox Guardians

Easington Moths.. there's been migrant butterflies turning up in-off the sea.. Red Admirals, Painted Ladies and more Hummingbird Hawks.. I sat watching the Red Valerian & probably had 5 diff individuals come in from the east or south, feed, and move off west.. in about 2 hours 😁
