Pupils have been working so hard in the Creative Technologies Faculty this term and we have just realised how long it has been since we shared some of their successes! So here goes...

Well done to 9S! After looking at the work of a range of artists and exploring block printing, collagraph printing and batik, they have composed these very tactile textile compositions. Great work! 👏👏

Our Year 7 art pupils have been studying still life - developing their observational drawing skills and exploring concepts of abstraction. Here are some examples from 7E- well done to all of you for your continued efforts and super outcomes! 😊

Well done to 8F1 who have been designing their own nightlights using computer aided design and connecting and programming circuits so LED's automatically come on when it is dark. Impressive work from you all! 👍😊

Feeling very grateful to CREATE Education and BAE Systems for their ongoing support and provision of brilliant workshops that raise awareness of the potential of 3D printing and embed skills associated with it. Well done to all pupils that have been involved over the past week!
