We are absolutely thrilled to see last season’s 1st XI captain Jack Home sign a three-year professional contract with Worcestershire CCC. He has represented Shrewsbury with distinction since making his 1st XI debut as a 14 year old, and we are hugely proud of everything he has achieved.

Congratulations to 2024 leavers Jack Home and Theo Wylie, who have both signed professional county cricket contracts this summer. The former Shrewsbury 1st XI players are an inspiration to the upcoming cricket talent we have at Shrewsbury. #FloreatSalopia bit.ly/4cQpCI8

Huge congratulations to Shrewsbury Cricket Club on winning the Birmingham Premier Division 2 title. Led by OS Lewis Evans, and regularly featuring a multitude of other Salopians past and present, they have thoroughly deserved their success. Outstanding work!

A special day today, as Freddie makes his Ireland U19 debut against England at Loughborough this morning. He will keep wicket and bat in the 50 over One Day International. Aged just 16, this is a stunning achievement, and everyone at Shrewsbury is thrilled for him.

A superb effort from Freddie, who top-scores while opening the batting on debut for Ireland U19s. After England won the toss and elected to bowl, Ireland were reduced to 54-5, but Freddie stood firm with a resolute 34 featuring 4 fours and a six. Ireland were dismissed for 141

After Cheshire posted 267 in the ECB U16 Cup National Final, rain prevented Surrey replying, meaning the trophy was shared. Liam starred with the bat hitting 92 from 76 balls, and later lifted the trophy with fellow Salopian Freddie. Congratulations, chaps!
