A special day today, as Freddie makes his Ireland U19 debut against England at Loughborough this morning. He will keep wicket and bat in the 50 over One Day International. Aged just 16, this is a stunning achievement, and everyone at Shrewsbury is thrilled for him.

It was great that Third Form were very keen to participate in visiting author Simon James Green's Shrewsbury Dialogue lecture last night. Simon spoke about his career as an author, tips for 'owning' life's awkward moments and the importance of LGBT representation in fiction.
