I rarely post any more, but every word of this is worth reading – especially by those with decision-making power in publishing. Such a brilliant, concise piece.

Saw Waleed Akhtar's tender, funny, thought-provoking and utterly captivating play yesterday. Can see why it's been garnering rave reviews! Don't miss #ThePWordPlay – congrats to the wonderful cast and team behind this stunning piece of theatre!

I spent the day in Westminster yesterday and caught a tiny glimpse of our first Asian PM before he addressed the 1922 committee. Huge day. Major! And so, here my thoughts on Rishi Sunak vogue.co.uk/news/article/r…

Yes!! I used to love making my own tapes. The sheer effort of it all – it was an art form. Also They Don't Know by Jon B has to be one of the greatest r&b love songs ever made Jyoti?

Working on the Leonora Bolt books always puts such a huge smile on my face – thrilled that readers will get their hands on this delightful – not to mention utterly hilarious – book!

Happy publication day, Sathnam Sanghera – Stolen History is an enlightening, accessible read that I wish had been around when I was growing up. One of its best qualities is the way it empowers young readers to ask questions – it was such a privilege to work on this. Congrats!

Happy publication day to this glorious debut by Dr Nazneen Ahmed Pathak. Another wonderful title I wish had been around when I was a young reader – it was such a joy to work on!

Had such a wonderful time travelling around the US east coast the past few weeks. A highlight was Boston's Beacon Hill Books, which had me with the glorious window seat/reading nook – but then I saw the display of miniatures with a tiny flickering fireplace....! 🙀

Waterstones' Children's Book of the Month for July is #cityofstolenmagic. I still can't believe it, even though it's there in black and white (and purple 💜💜💜). My breath catches each time I try to absorb it. What an absolute, incredible, joy-filled honour. PuffinBooks 💜💜💜

Has Westfield always been such a seething, overstimulating hellhole? Where do Londoners shop when they want to shop in peace? Do I just need to move to another city?
