Loved Marvel Studios's #Echo - wonderful casting, especially Alaqua, and I enjoyed both the picturesque sceneries and the combat scenes 👏 And knowing that Shoshannah Stern is involved made the experience even more precious, I really hope this isn't the last time we see Maya ❤️🤟

On this day (27th January) in 2016, Season 11, Episode 11, "Into the Mystic" aired 💙 Shoshannah Stern first episode as Eileen Leahy

Happy anniversary to the release of one of my favorite SPN episodes 11x11 “Into The Mystic” when we were introduced to Eileen Leahy portrayed by the lovely Shoshannah Stern . Thank you for playing one of my absolute favorite characters, and giving us Deaf rep and ASL in SPN 💜🤟🏻

Congrats to Marlee, and Shoshannah Stern for directing! Can't wait!

Congrats to my friend Nyle DiMarco and Davis Guggenheim’s upcoming documentary #DeafPresidentNow which has landed at Apple Original Films. It tells the story of the 1988 protests at Gallaudet University, which led to the installment of the school’s first Deaf president. BRAVO!

I am so happy to be coming back to the Sundance Film Festival this time with dear friend and director Shoshannah Stern and my documentary, “Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore.”

Huge congrats to Director Shoshannah Stern (Shoshannah Stern) and Marlee Matlin (Marlee Matlin)! Their powerful ASL-driven doc “Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore” just got picked up by Kino Lorber after its 2025 Sundance Film Festival debut! Catch it in theaters June 20! 🤟

Here's an amazingly insightful essay on the need for viewpoint diversity in debates within the deaf community, by Gallaudet prof. Brendan Udkovich Stern. He traces out the dynamics and dangers of orthodoxy for his diverse community: inquisitivemag.org/articles/theme…
