Hope's Nose, Devon this morning. My 1st Spotted Flycatcher here since Aug '23 was mobile below the top dell. Showed well, on and off, for 15 mins. Whitethroat, Willow Warb, 2 B'caps, 4 Chiff, 2 Wheatear, fem Sprawk, 3 Swallows, 2 Firecrests. Grey Seal.

An early morning, eye 👁️ to eye encounter, with a southbound #Wheatear at Devon's #HopesNose yesterday.

A real privilege to spend a couple of hours watching 2 #Ospreys on the Teign Estuary, Devon this afternoon. They favoured the area between Coombe Cellars and Passage House. Such a spectacle so close to home 🏠. Wonderful views. Great to share it with Mike P too! 👍

Nice to finally get 👀 eyes on a #TawnyOwl at Devon's, Hope Nose this morning. This vocal adult showed well, but briefly, on two occasions. 3 Firecrests, 3 Blackcaps, 2 Sand T, Mipit, 25+ Swallows, 6+ Chiffs, Grey Seal and a Painted Lady the best of the rest.
