Meet Theo Aers, engineering technician, one of our sponsored apprentices for 2021-22, employed at Servowatch in Essex and enrolled at the Colchester Institute for the off the job training. Theo has recently sent us his mid year progress report and it makes very impressive reading!

Meet Tom Lewis, one of our sponsored Boatbuilder apprentices for 2021-22, employed Peninsula Marine Services. He attends South Devon College for the off-the-job training. He has impressed everyone at the company, and is developing a very good range of skills since starting his apprenticeship!

Not the best of weather this afternoon, but it was a gentle breeze for the launch and first sail of Craig-B. A new Fowey River Dinghy built by me and my apprentice Toby over the winter. FoweySailing @intheboatshed The Worshipful Company of Shipwrights

The Shipwrights’ Company is extremely grateful to Warsash Maritime School, who hosted a fabulous visit for members Company yesterday. The Shipwrights’ party was headed up by Past Prime Warden Mr Doug Barrow MBE, himself a former Warsash alumnus. A fascinating very enjoyable day for all!
