Instead of being "too inspired" by Shatterhand for the helpers, I decided to buff them a bit & put 'em on a charge timer with limited uses. It's actually hella fun to use them now, and more balanced too! Here's one inspired by a PC Engine classic! #PCEngine #gamedev #turbografx

And now, all of the redesigned helpers should be implemented! One of them didn't lend itself well for the new design, so I replaced it with a maneki neko that spits out money when you kill an enemy with your sword. Now to go back to the boss fight! #pcengine #gamedev #turbografx
