3/8 We explored GBV beyond the physical: the emotional, psychological, financial, and digital forms that often go unseen. And how abuse doesn’t need to leave scars to be real or harmful.

4/8 We broke harmful myths: “Violence only happens in poor homes” “If he’s controlling, it is love” “She provoked it” All false.

5/8 We discussed the cycle of abuse, the signs that many miss, and the reality that violence can happen to anyone, regardless of class or background.

6/8 What made the session interesting was how interactive it was. The fellows shared, asked questions, and reflected deeply. Many left with a renewed understanding of what GBV truly looks like.

7/8 I closed the session with a challenging call to action: Use your voice. Support survivors. Speak up. Keep learning.
