These calls look like they are coming from official numbers and scammers sometimes even provide information like badge numbers, names of actual law enforcement officials, federal judges, and courthouse addresses. These scammers have been using LVMPD officials' names as well.

Groundbreaking! The Southern Nevada Army National Guard Firearms Range will include moving targets. The state-of-the-art facility will also be utilized by local law enforcement. This is a great partnership.

UPDATE: LVMPD Dispatch 9-1-1 phone service has been restored. All of the individuals who called during the outage have been called back and provided assistance.
Non-emergency calls are also working.

Bolden Reunion! Bolden Area Command is named after Larry Bolden, the first Black Deputy Chief with @lvmpd. Today nearly every former Bolden Captain gathered to break bread and share some laughs with Chief Bolden’s daughter, Carol. There’s a lot of history here.

Thank you danawhite and UFC for partnering with @lvmpd for a multi-year youth mentoring program for kids ages 12-17. I stopped by Fight Capital to check out the program and meet some of these great kids.

Make no mistake. Enzo prevented an officer involved shooting. Well done, buddy. I’m glad you’re home safe.

Check out this video taken earlier today. He stopped by the LVMPD K9 Facility with his handler. Enzo will continue to recover for the next several weeks and will remain off the job.

The Metro family is growing. I am overjoyed to meet my third grandchild (my first granddaughter). Little Madi is a blessing to our family. Both of her parents serve our community with LVMPD.

Kudos to LVMPD Officers Marcolini, Manzanedo, and Silva on their quick actions that saved a woman from a fire. Having visited this fine department in February and meeting with Sheriff Kevin McMahill, I saw firsthand the outstanding dedication.🫡
