Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL) is a key strategic deployment for Guangdong Province and Shenzhen to build leading international and domestic science and technology innovation centers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. SZBL is located in Guangming Science City.

On August 3, 2023, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL) and Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation (SMART)together kicked off the construction for the integrated permanent site in Guangming Science City, Shenzhen.

During the summer vacation, local elementary and middle school students walked into the Shenzhen Bay Laboratory to observe protein models and explore the mysteries of life science.

Hello everyone, the logo of #ShenzhenBayLab has been redesigned and officially released. The new logo is extracted from the acronym #SZBL. The letter “B” incorporates the feature of cell division, which symbolizes the exploration and pursuit of fundamental issues in the field.
