Evening all. Added the recycled crushed whelk shells to the pots of emerging hostas that I was kindly gifted by Shell on Earth 🐚🌵 as part of the battle against slugs & snails & they look great too.

Planting up a succulent terrarium. I use a free draining soil mix consisting of compost, grit & perlite. I top dress with crushed shells to anchor the plants. I put the tallest plant at the back of the terrarium first. I always plant in odd numbers - I think it works well.
