if you guys haven’t heard, insta is now training their ai w any/all posts you make. i tried using a guide to opt out (which is buried under menus & links) but they’ve changed the form. they now REQUIRE screenshots of PROOF and relevant prompts that Show your data is being used🤦‍♂️

So wait @INSTAGRAM 😳! The number of times content appearing on a screen used to be called “Impressions”, right? So now every metric concerning SEEING and PLAYING a Reel is being labeled a view, even when it’s an autoplay that occurred as I scrolled by? How Meta & TikTok of you.

Hey Mr. DJ! You can get it started! Ms. DJ that includes you too! Twitch drops the beat to turn up the volume on its music business tubefilter.com/2024/08/07/twi… via Tubefilter

So you got your FIRST content WARNING on your BUSINESS Facebook page. No biggie. Meta will remove it IF you attend its NEW Facebook school. engadget.com/social-media/f…

I think I'd love to be in the war room of the social media team for #Olympics2024 analyzing and reporting data and trends like which athletes are getting the most mentions, the sentiment around Olympic moments, etc. The TV producer in me wants to know which events get eyeballs

The geek in me loves what she see from Flux. However, the realist in me knows this could be soooo problematic when used for the wrong reasons.

Wow! I can't argue the budget costs for a real commercial shoot from script to screen vs this AI version. Even the time spent in post is still cheaper for the AI version. The business of show is going to be sooo different in the years to come.

Now here's a great use of AI imagery...restaurant websites. And when I order my plate, my food better look as appetizing as the restaurant pictured it. For eateries still using the same faded pics from 20+ yrs ago, AI imagery may now be on the menu

Alice Fuller (@sheersocial) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Ohhh Lordt! This is cool, but I can foresee the lies folks will tell. Shooo it's done now in real life. What folk don't know is that though you might walk the red carpet, you're not on the list to actually attend the big event. It's the game of perception vs reality

Can anyone guess why the image in the lower right corner kinda worries me when it comes to what AI tools can do in the hands of the wrong people?

Alice Fuller (@sheersocial) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Tuan ain't never lied. This is game changing! But it'll be a while before most people learn how to create great AI imagery. And there will always be those who will support authentic photography. So Getty, iStock, and others can rest for now, but not for long.

Shiiiiii all things considered should I have an active X account? I'm literally lending my thoughts and content to a platform owned by a man that OPENLY supports a racist. I can rationalize it professionally, but personally. Nope! Thus, I'll be on this app much less.

Zach Praiss (@zachpraiss) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Let me get this straight: At a time when AI-generated deepfakes are increasingly realistic and used to try to sway political opinion, Meta is now making it harder for Instagram and Facebook users to see when content is AI-generated by having to double-click into a post's menu

Hello! It's a been a while. I just came to pick up my stuff. FYI. I've moved to Bluesky and soon Threads. I may pop in here for the AI conversations, but dat's bout it. Y'all be safe in these internet streets. I'll see ya where I see ya.
