We don't use our southern verandahs much at all. Good in theory. OK to dry clothes out of direct sunlight in summer. Good use of blinds, trees, vines helps.

Shaun Carter #YES 🇺🇦 I agree that some of the 60’s & 70’s architecture was some of our best. This is a good example that with a few slight tweaks like outdoor decks to the north, larger 2nd bedroom, second WC & open kitchen would make this a better apartment.
