I’ve been speaking with elders in my family and in communities. Many haven’t slept for days and are describing experiencing stomach problems, headaches and nausea. Their body is processing racist, Islamophobic violence and fear, it’s how trauma moves through the body #RaceRiots

My 5 year old son understands white privilege and how racism impacts our brown and black brothers and sisters. He fully understood what the rally was about and why it mattered &wanted to make a sign. If he can understand it then #Antiracism skills can be taught in primary schools
