It's good to see #FND in the news to increase awareness, but please check the facts. FND is NOT rare. It's the 2nd most common reason to see Neurology. The language used is so important to promote wellbeing. I live with FND. I don't battle it - but the symptoms can be a battle.

The start of my holiday was not as planned, thanks to a chest infection. But I managed to make it to the #Chrism service at Gloucester Cathedral today. I'm now hoping my energy stays high enough to join in services over the rest of this special weekend. #Easter #MaundyThursday

#FND life... Getting caught on brambles and not realising. I said 'ouch' when I couldn't move my leg back any more (an automatic response to hearing a knock or getting stuck, not pain). Later, I noticed that I had more than just touched them. Oh well...at least I can't feel it!

#FND is not taught much during medical training and the area I live in doesn't have a treatment pathway NHS Gloucestershire This means people are diagnosed, then nothing. FND is life changing.
