Here is question three for #teachpos I think it’s a sense of fear and often the prospect of not being perfect. Plus it’s easier to stay the course.

Craig Shapiro A2: School districts should work toward each school (at each level) having a theme to work around (fine arts, technology, IB, foreign language, hands on) that becomes the focus for that school. Teachers can teach at--& students can attend--the school of their choice.

A3 Fear. Being a leader or being in charge comes with consequences. But if one is transparent & honest, ppl are more apt to listen & become part of a collective community #teachpos
