New postdoc Position in our group iDiv Biodiversity Research in Leipzig Germany. Higher order interactions, food webs and trees. PRT jobs.uni-jena.de/jobposting/e1d…

The paper is a TOTALLY international collaboration using the NEON data! Shaopeng Wang and I worked with Baiser Lab, Lauren Hallett, Yann Hautier, Lin Jiang, Michel Loreau, @record_lab, Eric Sokol, and @PLZarnetske. It was a fun collaboration!!

Super excited to share my work with Mingyu Luo on Ecology Letters 😊This is my first paper, thank you all for your help and support!! 💡A size‐constrained feeding‐niche model distinguishes predation patterns between aquatic and terrestrial food webs onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.11…

The authors demonstrate that fitness-dependency of dispersal (1) maintains biodiversity (2) changes the response of biodiversity to habitat heterogeneity and (3) weakens the negative biodiversity-habitat connectivity relationship. doi.org/10.1111/1365-2… Shaopeng Wang

Anthropogenic eutrophication is a driver of plant community shifts in many grassland ecosystems. Chen et al. use data from a global experiment to assess how nutrient addition affects grassland ecological stability. Shaopeng Wang Nutrient Network nature.com/articles/s4146…

Delighted to see my paper out in NatureEcoEvo showing how warming and apex predators induce a freshwater trophic cascade via indirect effects through the food web, following an epic field experiment in Hengill, Iceland! nature.com/articles/s4155…

Collaborating with Nutrient Network, Dr Qingqing Chen led this study to understand how eutrophication influenced the various dimensions of grassland stability (invariability, resistance and resilience of community biomass, composition, and richness), as well as their correlations
