Oak Creek remembered on Friday. Thank you to all classes that prepared for our virtual assembly and to our student MC’s. Our assembly focussed on honouring diverse soldier stories and reflections on peace including Yusuf/Cat Steven’s song, Peace Train. Oak Creek PS

We’ve been pretty busy over here at OC recording for CBC Music challenge #CBCMusicClass today we will record 5 more songs! Our grade 2’s named their band “Cheesy Melodies” and will be performing “I am a Pizza” in their pizza parlour. Oak Creek PS #OCproud

Shout-out to the grade 8 crew that totally organized my instruments today. They are like an un-official music council - always willing to help out. This small acts to a long way! I also love hearing them giggle and joke around while we get stuff done.
