Our TYs spent their Friday in Derg Isle Adventure Centre for their annual Bonding Trip. The weather stayed good for a day of fun and sport. New adventures and friendship were the aim of the day! Well done to all involved.

We’re looking forward to meeting the parents of our current group of TY students tomorrow evening as we hold our annual TY Parent Information Evening. It takes place at 6.30pm in the school canteen.

Our TY/5th year Mentors had a great day at their bonding session yesterday. Thank you to John at Munster Footgolf here in Shannon for having us and providing a great day out for our Mentors.

We were delighted to have a very special visit from Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind Our special guests visited TY and LCA classes as we hope to support them in some fundraising. It’s a visit that won’t soon be forgotten and was thoroughly enjoyed by all those who met our new canine friends.

Our 6th year girls were delighted to be some of the recipients of this very kind donation. Great excitement as some of our TeenTurn girls distributed them to other girls in their year. Thanks to all involved!

We’re delighted to have our Girls in STEM Club make a welcome return this week. We’ll be working on Project Squad with TeenTurn for the next 12 weeks with lots of research and problem solving coming our way!

Our Drama Club has commenced once again for the school year! We had loads of fun during lunchtime today doing drama games and improvisation. Drama Club runs every second Tuesday during lunchtime. All years are welcome!

Our TYs and our 5th and 6th year LCAs had a great day at the Ploughing Championships today. Not a sign of a mud coated photo this year 😂🚜

Well done to some of our TY students who completed the 'Get Rowing, Get Going' coaching programme with Rowing Ireland.   It teaches basic rowing skills in a fun and interactive way . Our students will coach 1st years (with the help of their PE teachers) over the next weeks!

Some great practical work carried out by a 3rd year Science class today demonstrating aerobic respiration! Well done to all.
