India being what it is, there is no possibility at anytime of same party ruling at the Union level & in all 31 States. As such all Political Parties should learn to work in harmony according to letter and spirit of the Constitution. To treat other Parties as enemies is not good.

Disgraceful- after the suicide of Police Inspector of KR Puram police station , now death of PSI of Yadgir PS is reported . Both are victims of extortion for transfers . High time for senior officers to firmly resist interference by politicians & stop cash based transfers.

Independence Day is a solemn ceremony . Protocol should prevail . Cricketers , sportsmen who have won medals do deserve special consideration but they cannot overtake protocol. Protocol should not be tampered every now and then for momentary gains .

State CMs & PM in their speeches on the occasion of Independence Day should focus on what they propose to do during their term of power or responsibility. No point in telling the States & Nation , what they will do during next 25, 50 and 100 years .

Governor of Karnataka as the Appropriate Authority has given sanction to conduct enquiry or investigation in to the allegations made against CM Siddaramaiah, under section 17A of the Prevention of Corruption Act . It is not permission to prosecute.

Allegations against CM Siddaramaiah in MUDA sites allotment case - Question of sanction for prosecution under section 19 of the Prevention of Corruption Act will arise only after Investigation is completed and allegations are proved and Investigation agency requests for sanction.

Retd . Engineer Shri Kannayya Naidu and his team have successfully repaired the damaged Gate No. 19 and have prevented likely wastage of huge quantity of water from TB Dam. Hearty congratulations to all of them . They deserve all appreciation and reward.

Krishna Water Dispute Tribunal Award 2 came in 2010 and Karnataka was allotted additional 173 TMC water and permitted to raise height of Almatti Dam to 525 meters . Now 14 years have passed . So far Award is not Gazetted . Addl. Water allotted is not used & Dam height not raised.

Mahadayi Tribunal Award came in 2018.Karnataka was permitted to use 5.4 TMC water. So far award is not gazetted .Allotted water is not used . Successive Govts. have failed to pursue the issue vigorously & to get both KWDT 2 and Mahadayi Awards Gazetted and use the allotted water.

Police is the same under all Govts. It is a fact that it is weakened deliberately with ulterior motives by one year transfer rule and cash based transfers. Now the Government has abolished one year transfer rule . Let them stop cash based transfers also.Police will be Police.

Political leaders and media should be responsible in their statements and comments regarding any communal incidents , at least until the situation is brought under control by the Police . They should allow the local Police to discharge their duties impartially and promptly.

North Karnataka Districts of Belagavi,Vijayapur, Haveri, Bidar, Gulbarga,Yadgir, Koppal and Raichur have lowest per capita Income of an average ₹ 1.13 Lakhs/ annum. Lowest in Karnataka and South India . This is inspite of abundant water, mineral , forest and manpower resources.

It is a matter of great satisfaction that many of Kannada TV channels and Daily Papers are doing very well .But a matter of deep regret is that their vision is blurred & focused only on the Ruling Party in the State & they are blind to grave crimes committed by other Parties .

Some of the politicians , known to People of Karnataka , for what they were and are , are now talking about Moral grounds and morality . It is matter of credit to the people of Karnataka that over the last 25 years they nurtured such morally “sound “ leaders .

MUDA 1 - Permission by Hon. Governor is under section 17A of PC Act . It only permits investigation . When an allegation is received against CM , it is fair to investigate it . After investigation is completed, if charges are proved & sanction is given u/s 19, CM has to resign .

MUDA 2 - Until Investigation is completed, it expected that all should keep QUIET & await the result of investigation. If charges are proved , and IO asks for sanction to prosecute u/s 19 of PC Act &. sanction is given, then demand for resignation of CM will be fair & justified.

MUDA 3 - Lokayukta Act and institution of Lokayukta were brought in to existence ,with the sole purpose of creating an Authority competent to investigate allegations against even a CM. Even now also there are no grounds to suspect the Independence and Impartiality of Lokayukta .

In the demise of Shri Ratan Tata , not only India but also world has lost a dynamic & innovative Industrialist , who above all was strictly wedded, to Tata group principles of morality in business.His contribution to development of India is unique . May his soul rest in peace .
