First breeding record of the Black-headed Penduline Tit in China, discovered by Beijing Normal University team at Nalati National Wetland Park in 2022. Over 30 individuals&4 nests were documented. Ongoing surveys in 2025 to monitor population & ecology.

Clouded leopard of Medog The #CloudedLeopard population is scarce and has a limited distribution, now only surviving in four regions in China: Medog in Nyingchi, Tibet; Xishuangbanna, Nujiang Prefecture, and Dehong Prefecture in Yunnan.

The Yunnan Snub-nosed Monkey is primarily arboreal but occasionally descends to the ground to forage and drink water. Our cameras captured a few of these monkeys leisurely drinking and eating on the ground. All of them are adult males, likely belonging to an all-male unit.

This year's Lisu Knife Pole Festival was as lively as ever. With stalls set up selling snacks, showcasing traditional clothing, and offering educational displays on plants and animals. Together with Jinchan Village, we even organized a small photo exhibition at our booth.

2025 International Day of Forests is about "Forests and Foods." We are focusing on the forest ecosystems in the Sichuan, Yunnan, and Beijing. We are implementing multi-benefit forest conservation ensuring that both species and local communities benefit from it.

A lawn that isn't mowed can bring so many surprises! We explored the campus with students from Shanghai Jianping High School, searching for native plants. During the activity, students hand-drew and installed educational signs, contributing to the conservation of native plants.
