I got based whales and these four came to mind.

Yesterday, I participated in the Animal Illustration for Beginners event at the California Botanical Garden and I had a lot of fun working on bird sketches. Shoutout to my mentor who reached out to me about this event.

Made a quick detailed sketch of the newly described Antarctic Elasmosaur, Marambionectes molinai. The reason I went out of my way to work on this is to show these bot brains how it’s done.

Knowing how resident and transient killer whales have been genetically separated from each other since the Pleistocene (predating Homo sapiens), I think it's about time we propose new species to the Orcinus genus. Will take some getting used to but it's exciting news overall.

Very humbled I got to volunteer at the Alf for Fossil Fest. I got to educate guests, see the Eusthenopteron model made by Cullen Townsend (very honored talking with you ), and seeing a partial Parasaurolophus crest in person. Overall an amazing day with amazing people :)
