I’ve been in rooms where more than 13% of the people are Black and more than 18% are Latino and still felt underrepresented. Representation is not just about the numbers. It’s about visibility, access to opportunity, belonging, and the freedom to be oneself.

My dissertation defense was this day two years ago ♥️‼️

I feel that the universe smiles on me in June‼️ June 15, 2014: I successfully defended my masters thesis. June 30, 2017: I passed my comprehensive exam. June 1, 2020: I successfully defended my dissertation defense. 😘♥️☺️
